We have had a very busy week in Snettisham Class. Below is our In The Moment Planning document which shows how we are following the children’s interests and weaving their next steps into their play.
We have been…
We made a dinosaur swamp with foliage from our front garden, the we planted sunflower seeds in our flower bed before watering them. We then use some of the foliage from outside to paint our own watercolor portraits. We created cars out of junk modeling after we had planned them on paper and created diagrams. We drew around leaves outside to compare their sizes. B was pretending to be the Teacher and led an early morning Phonics lesson for the class. We drew, coloured, cut out and displayed and enormous turnip too!
Well done to, Melissa our writer of the week, Tauvydas our reader of the week and Melis, our mathematician of the week.
Remember, no school on Monday due to the bank holiday and we’re having a picnic on Thursday (6th) afternoon (fingers crossed for the weather). Please return your meal choice slip before Tuesday so we can order the lunches we need.
Have a lovely weekend!
