Winterton’s Friday blog 4th December

Good afternoon everyone. I hope you are reading this either before or after completing your homework for this week. Another week has finished and only 2 more until Christmas! Well done everyone for working hard again this week – you have all covered a lot during the week. Can you list all the things you have learnt? Well done also for the wonderful holly wreaths you have made this week.

Here are the congratulations for this week. Is your name here, if not what can you do to get a mention next week?

Education City

A huge well done to all the people that completed all their work that was set last week – Klevi, Azuolas, Evelyn and Arminas; and Brodie who has completed 5 pieces (despite being ill this week!) and Joanna who has done 1 piece. Come on the rest of you – let’s see everyone’s name here next week.

Tackling Tables

Well done to all those who have gone up to the next level this week – Leon, Evelyn, Azuolas, Emilijus and Klevi. Also to Madalin and Kenzie, who have gone from blue to green level; and Grace aand Erin who have gone from green to red level.

The same 5 people didn’t hand in their homework this week – well done the rest of you. A special thank you to those of you that email it to me over the weekend – it is there waiting for me on Monday morning so I can tick your names off on the homework chart. I know it is not possible for all of you to email work, so if you are not able to email me, thank you for putting your work on my desk first thing on Monday so I can see it. Remember, Friday afternoon is not ‘time off’, it is time when you work at home. To know you have done this, I need to see your homework.

Special mentions this week go to helpers in the classroom: Erin, Joanna, Kenzie, Enja and to all of you that help in so many little ways such as: always being ready to learn, always listening to instructions and contributing to class discussions and shared teaching sessions, thinking about what you are doing and being a good bubble person. I don’t tell you often enough but I appreciate all that you do to make Winterton a better place! Thank you. If you read this, come and say ‘Friday’s blog’ to me on the playground as you come in on Monday morning.

Swimming will be for group A and B this week.

Christmas news!

Don’t forget the Christmas Post Box for all your cards on a Monday and Thursday.

Also there will be news next week about our Christmas production this year. It will be rather different this year though!

Have a good weekend and see you all on Monday

Mrs. M
