Holkham Works!

This week has been a strange week for me keeping in touch with Holkham virtually but I am pleased to say they are all working really hard and I am hearing nothing but good things. Please keep up the good work Holkham and don’t let yourselves or me down.

This weeks musician of the week was Leon.   Congratulations on being chosen by Miss Berners.

In English this week we have been looking at adjectives which can give a sense of suspense, Why not ask your children about these words to see what they can remember! The children have also begun to innovate their story and have recapped on frontial adverbials. why not have a watch of this lesson


In maths we have been looking at multiplication and division within the 3 and 4 times tables.

Here are two songs to have a go at at home, see if they help you to remember the patterns.



In Topic we have studied the Tower of London can you find out your own information and share it with me. Evie has done some fantastic work at home .

In science we are continuing with our investigations on sound and we have been concentrating on pitch and looking at how to change it. We made pan pipes, here are a few photo’s to share with you. We all had fun!!
































In PE we have been learning to control the ball and shoot at a target in hockey. Here are some photo’s to show our skills.
