Cromer Bubble’s Friday Blog 23rd October, 2020
Hello Cromer Bubble,
Well, we’ve reached the end of our first half term. We’ve seen a lot of changes; our school day today is unrecognisable from what it was a year ago. However, we adapted and we’re getting used to our ‘new normal’.
Axella and Ema have been working hard and rising to any mathematical challenge this week. Great work!
Take a look at us hard at work this week:
Nicole is hard at work:
I love the look on Isaac’s face!
In swimming this week Mr. Holmes said that T., Annabelle and Natasha had made excellent progress.
It’s been a busy week! We’ve done some diagnostic tests in maths, reading and punctuation and grammar, we started a new unit in literacy and a new unit in Power Maths.
We made some leaflets for topic about plastic pollution. Take a look:
The following people did brilliantly on Tackling Tables this week:
AAC, Nicole, Jack, Ema, Pippa, Natasha, Franky, Kristine, Erica, Preston, Reuben, Emily, Pearl, Annabelle, AJ, Kacie, Harlee and Jessica.
These children got full marks in their spelling test: T., Charlie, Ema, Jessica, Nicole, Ellerslie, Franky, Jack, Harlee, Erica and Kristine.
Spelling words for after half term, to be tested on Friday 6th November:
Words with silent letters
Unstressed vowels in polysyllabic words
If you have time, log on to Tackling Tables to practise your times tables.
Do lots of reading! Take photos of yourself reading or extreme reading and send them to me! Thanks.
You can also do some research on one of our topics if you would like to (send it to me).
I hope you have a lovely half-term. Have plenty of fun and plenty of rest.
