Thornham well dones!
Here is the last Friday post for this academic year!
First of all its a big shout out to everyone in Thornham Class! You have all been amazing! I have heard from every single one of you since lockdown and I am pleased to say that everyone has had a go at some of the activities of home learning when you have been able. Well done!
This week the red bubble we have been busy in all areas of the curriculum.
In maths we have looked at the unit all about money. We now recognise all the different coins and their value. We have started to add amounts of money too. We have also been practising counting in ones, twos, fives and tens. We feel we are getting more confident counting from any given number.
We have evaluated our D and T moving pictures and now recognise how we could improve our work and what we would do next time.
In English we created a booklet with subheadings all about Meerkats. We found out some very interesting facts!
Here are some examples of work completed at home!
Sophie has been busy growing cress. She has been working hard to keep them healthy by watering every day. Egg and cress sandwiches anyone?
Sophie has also been busy reading at home too!
Dolcie has been working hard again this week – here is her mini project on holidays past, future and present.
Well done Dolcie.
Lots of you have been completing the activities on Education City well done! A special well done to Tommy, Oakley, Dolcie, Mylah, Nojus, Kane, Oscar.
I have only had a couple of messages for your friends if you can send me your messages to post for Monday.
Have a great weekend and look out for my last blog for this year on Monday morning.
