Good Morning Brancaster Class

Good morning everyone.

The weeks are flying past and I can’t believe that we are nearly at the start of the Summer Holidays.

What a strange year it has been. I am sure that as we entered Brancaster Class last September, none of us would have predicted how our year would end. Normally at this time of the year we would be talking about your move to year 5, what class you will be in, who your new teacher will be and who your new classmates will be. Whilst this year is obviously very different, I wan’t you to know that you don’t need to worry. You will all be fine. September will come and you will have time to get to know your new class and teacher, lots of things will be familiar and I will be just down the corridor. Change can be scary but it can also be exciting!

This week we have another week full of exciting learning activities for you to complete at home.

Year 3 and 4 13.7.20

Don’t forget you can access your Power Maths textbook here  https://preview.pearsonactivelearn.com/PowerMathsYear4

I know that some of you have already finished your Power Maths books. If you have then remember you can go to BBC Bitesize and find lots of lessons for Year 4. You can also find additional maths lessons on the Oak Academy website.

You will notice that the spellings are the same this week. Please use your time this week to learn and practise the year 3/4 spelling words. You should have a paper copy of this at home, here’s one, if you can’t find it!

Education City

It’s been great to see lots of you completing the work on Education City, I have updated the activities this week so there are more challenges for you. Don’t forget that you can continue to explore the site and play other games too! Let me know if you find any you really like and I can share it with everyone.

Have you enjoyed learning about the Romans? It’s one of my favourite topics. I am really looking forward to seeing your powerpoints this week! Make sure you wow me with your computing skills!

Here’s a powerpoint that Jack created on the Roman Baths, he has used some great pictures to grab the reader’s attention. Well done Jack.

Have an amazing week Brancaster Class and don’t forget I am here, on the other end of the computer if you need anything.
