Hope you’ve all had a fantastic week Holkham! (10/07/20)
Good afternoon Holkham,
Can you believe we’ve only got one week to go before the holiday begin? It has been a very quick and strange year but I hope you’ve enjoyed the good times as much as I have! Fingers crossed you’ve all had a fantastic week. Remember, you can still use this week’s ‘Home Learning Grid’ over the weekend – find it here… Home Learning Grid 6th July 2020 UPDATED. This week will be my last vlog as next week will feature a special video of Holkham Class. If you’d like to get involved please see the ‘Final Messages’ at the end of this blog.
Alesha has been working hard in Orange Bubble on her Water Cycle image.
Borislav has yet again mixed his learning about the Romans with his love of Lego/Duplo. He’s also had a Birthday. A huge Happy Birthday from everyone on Holkham Borislav – I hope you enjoy learning about the Solar System as much as I do.
Brayden has been very busy too! His reserach on Roman Baths was brilliant, as was his English – how did he know how much I love Pizza? Amazing Maths work on fractions too.
David has been working very hard this week. He’s produced fantastic work on the water cycle and Roman baths. Personally, I loved his catapult but I’m not sure what Samson the cat thinks as he’s turned his back on it!
Freya has worked very hard this week too. She’s produced fantastic work on the water cycle and completed many of the activities on Education City. I really loved her Roman Numeral Clock! That was such a good way to challenge yourself. Well done!
George has had yet another great week. Maths, spellings and even seed growing. Is there no end to his love of learning? He also sent me a clip for our end of year video which I cant wait for you all you see.
When I logged on to Lexia, I could see Rhys has earned 2 certificates for his hard work! Well done Rhys, great job!
Don’t forget that I am creating a video of members of the class sharing some of their memories from their time in Holkham. I would love it if you could send me a very short video (10 seconds max) sharing a memory. If your video is too big to share you can use the file sharing website WeTransfer and send it to my email address [email protected].
Remember that you can (but do not have to) access learning resources from The Oak National Academy and BBC Bitesize which they are adding to daily.
Hope you have a great weekend,
