Will it be a rainy weekend Holkham? (26/06/20)
Good afternoon Holkham,
I hope you’ve had a fantastic week and managed to enjoy some of the lovely weather we’ve been having. This weekend looks like it’s going to be a bit of a wet one so remember, if you’re stuck for something to do, you can still use this week’s ‘Home Learning Grid’ over the weekend if you’d like to – find it here…Year 3 and 4 22.06.20.Thank you for reading with your grown ups for 10 minutes every day.
Alesha has been in school this week and Mrs Moyle has been sharing her work with me. She has written a beautifully descriptive Hot Task whilst working in her bubble. Well done Alesha!
Borislav has had a great week writing his practising Roman numerals, melting and moulding chocolate and creating a collosum entirely from lego bricks. What amazing learning!
Brayden has also had a busy week labelling and drawing a gladiator, designing and building a catapult and working on his boxing up and thinking about the structure of his writing.
David has also been labelling a gladiator, working on his ‘Hot Task’, which has a great structure thanks to his boxing up from last week, and conducting an experiment exploring exportation. Wow!
George has been working very hard in Science researching evaporation amongst amazing Maths and spellings work. He has also been reading regularly with his grown ups at home which I’m so pleased to see.
It was lovely to hear from Nicole this week. She has sent me lovely photos of her work on the Romans, her picking strawberries and enjoying the sunshine at the beach.
like Alesha, Rhys has been in school this week in Mrs Moyle’s bubble. He too has written a fantastic Hot Task and even came to say a socially distanced ‘Hello!’ to me and my bubble on Tuesday.
Final Messages (copied from last week)
Remember that you can (but do not have to) access learning resources from The Oak National Academy and BBC Bitesize which they are adding to daily.
Hope you have a great weekend,
