Wells Class – Friday Blog: 19-6-20
Hello Wells Class,
I hope you have been keeping safe and been busy with your home learning this week. Did you enjoy performing the City Jungle in English from the Home Learning Grid or maybe learning about endangered animals in Science? I know how much lots of you enjoy learning about different animals in our class. If you would like to find out more about endangered animals and what the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is doing to help them survive and thrive, then please look at this website: https://www.worldwildlife.org/species/directory
In my Bubble group, we enjoyed learning about the Highwaymen in Topic and learning the songs on Charanga ready for the Virtual Big sing from the Norfolk Music Hub. The Virtual Big Sing is today at 2pm if you would like to join in – there are singers such as Jessie J and Danny from McFly too so it should be a great event.
The Duchess of Cambridge hosted a special online assembly this week based on the ‘Importance of Kindness’ – it is really interesting and well worth watching on YouTube. Please watch it and let me know any ideas or thoughts you have about it:
Please remember to email me with photos of the work you have completed from your Home Learning Grids and any other things you may have been learning in the week with your parents eg cooking, gardening. It would be great to see what you have been doing and I can share it on our class blog each Friday too. Also, remember to look on Education City for the activities which are set each week and you can also use this for games against each other eg spelling. You can also practice your Tackling Tables online and if you have a Lexia login, you can access this from home to aid your reading and spelling skills.
Have a good weekend – take care and stay safe,
