Hello Wells Class 30-3-20

Hello Wells Class,

I hope that you are well and have been following all the advice we have been given by the government. Make sure you watch Newsround to make sure you know what is happening in the World.

Please find the Home Learning Grid for this week on the previous post as well as the Power Maths slides – these are what I would usually teach you from in class and it would be great if you could work through these with an adult. If you were in on the last Friday, you will also have your Power Maths books to work from too.

I have set some Maths and English work on Education City for you to complete in the Classwork section – I know there have been some issues with this, but it should be working fine now. Remember that you have the opportunity to play against and challenge children from your class or school in tasks if you so wish. Also, please keep up with your Tackling Tables online – this will really help your Maths skills when we are back in school.

I hope you’re taking the opportunity to exercise daily – either doing the Joe Wicks PE session or maybe something outside. Make sure you have time away from your screens to read, do artwork/crafts or something else that you enjoy. It is important that you look after your mental well-being and help out the adults who are taking care of you. You can learn lots of new skills from them whilst you’re at home, such as cooking, so make the most of your time together.

Remember – you can email me with any questions about the work set or send me photos of work that you have been doing.

Take care of yourselves,

Mr Stratton
