Computing Networks in Holkham Class

The children in Holkham Class have been considering how different types of Computing Technology ‘talk’ to each other. Together we built our own class network from string to show the direction of communication between computing devices, for example, PCs, laptops, tablets, phones, games consoles and even some televisions. We looked at how this can help us connect with people in our school community, local community and around the world. BR helpfully pointed out that this communication goes ‘out of this world’ when communicating with the International Space Station or Mars Rover!
